Data Deletion
Data Deletion Instructions
Apex Inc and Creator Hub, operated by APEX CREATORS PTY LTD (ABN 95 672 091 655)
This page is published at https://www.apexinc.com.au/data-deletion and also on creatorhub.com.au.
Effective date: 1 November 2026
Version: 1.0
You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you, including data we received from Instagram, Facebook (Meta) and TikTok. This page explains how.
Option 1: Email us (works for everyone)
Send an email to hello@apexinc.com.au with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:
-
your full name;
-
your Instagram username and/or TikTok username (or the email address you used with Creator Hub);
-
whether you want us to delete everything or only your Instagram / Facebook / TikTok connected data; and
-
the email address we should reply to.
We may reply to check it is really you before we delete anything, so we never delete the wrong person's data.
Option 2: Remove Creator Hub from your account first (recommended)
Removing the app stops us receiving new data straight away. You should then use Option 1, or the Meta deletion request described below, to have us delete data we already hold.
-
Click your profile picture at the top right of Facebook, then choose Settings & privacy > Settings.
-
Click Apps and websites in the left menu.
-
Find Creator Hub, then click Remove.
-
If shown, you can choose to let Facebook tell the app your login connection was removed. Click Remove again to confirm.
-
On a computer: click More at the bottom left, then Settings. Under "Your app and media", click Website permissions, then Apps and websites, then Active.
-
In the Instagram app: go to Settings and privacy > Website permissions > Apps and websites.
-
Find Creator Hub and click or tap Remove, then confirm.
Removing the app stops us receiving new data from Meta. To have us delete the data we already hold, email us as described in Option 1 above. The Meta Developer Platform lets apps give users deletion instructions instead of an automated callback, and this page is that set of instructions. When you ask us to delete your data, we will delete the Meta data we hold about you in line with Meta's requirements.
TikTok
-
Open the TikTok app and tap Profile.
-
Tap the menu (three lines) at the top, then Settings and privacy.
-
Tap Security & permissions (in some versions this appears as Security and login), then Apps and services permissions (in some versions this appears as Manage app permissions).
-
Tap Creator Hub, then tap Remove access.
TikTok manages connected apps in its mobile app, so you may need to use the app rather than the TikTok website. Removing access stops us receiving new data from TikTok. To have us delete the data we already hold, email us as described in Option 1 above.
What we delete
When we process your request, we will delete:
-
your Instagram, Facebook and TikTok access tokens;
-
the profile, content and performance data we received from Meta and TikTok about your account (including reports and snapshots we saved);
-
public data about your account that we looked up through Instagram business discovery or the Instagram Creator Marketplace Discovery API;
-
your Creator Hub profile, portfolio and account details, if you ask us to delete your account; and
-
your contact details from our mailing lists.
What we may keep
We may keep limited information that the law requires us to hold, or that we need to deal with a dispute, such as tax invoices and payment records (usually for 7 years) and a record of your deletion request. We will tell you what we are keeping and why. We will not use that information for any other purpose, and we will delete it when the time is up.
How long it takes
-
We will confirm we have received your request within 5 business days.
-
We will delete your Meta and TikTok data within 30 days of verifying your request, and email you to confirm.
-
Backups are kept for 30 days and then overwritten or deleted.
